Theme: Deepening Our Grasp of Christ’s Love
Weekday in the Epiphany Season (Closing Day)
Gather as a family or individually. Light your candle one final time for this journey.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Lord Jesus,
Light revealed to the nations,
as we conclude this week of Epiphany,
deepen our faith and widen our hearts
to grasp the boundless love You have shown us.
Root us firmly in You
so that we may bear fruit for Your Kingdom.
Who live and reign for ever and ever. Amen.
Read slowly and prayerfully:
Ephesians 3:14–19 (Paul’s Prayer for the Ephesians)
“…that you, rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the holy ones what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”
Colossians 2:6–7 (Live in Christ)
“Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”
As our Epiphany week comes to a close, we reflect on all that has been revealed: Christ manifested to the Magi, at His baptism, at Cana, and through the beginning of His ministry. Now the invitation is personal: to grow ever deeper in knowing and loving Him.
The light of Epiphany is not meant to fade. Carry it forward into Ordinary Time: let the revelations of this season strengthen your faith, widen your heart, and fill you with God’s fullness.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
